About Us

About Us

Discover the story, ethos, and passionate team behind TippyToes Stantonbury Nursery.

Our Story

Our beautiful farmhouse setting had been home to Hannah’s family, our nursery owner and manager, for many generations. In July 2010 TippyToes began as a childminding setting, registering as a day nursery in April 2011.

Since then we have been growing, bringing the whole house and grounds back to life, and currently have a maximum capacity of 64 children aged between 3 months and 5 years.

Our Ethos

At TippyToes, we provide a warm and inspiring, home-from-home environment where children are truly at the heart of everything we do.

Our dedicated, highly qualified, experienced and caring team supports each child’s individual journey through high-quality care, meaningful play, and a rich, ambitious curriculum inspired by Reggio Emilia and The Curiosity Approach.

We build strong relationships with families and use a well-established key person system to ensure we understand the individual needs and interests of every child so they feel safe, valued, and happy β€” laying the foundations for confident, lifelong learners.

Meet Our Team

At TippyToes, we’re proud of our passionate and experienced team who work together to create a warm, nurturing, and stimulating learning environment for every child.

Hannah Simms β€” Owner & Manager

Hannah leads the nursery with a genuine passion for early childhood education and a strong commitment to nurturing every child’s potential. With a rich background working across home-based care, nurseries, and children’s homes, Hannah brings valuable experience in supporting children with psychological and behavioural needs.

She is supported by a highly qualified Deputy Manager and a very experienced Third in Charge. Each room is led by a Senior Nursery Practitioner working alongside dedicated Nursery Practitioners and Nursery Nurses.

Paediatric First Aid Trained Team

We are proud that all of our team who work directly with the children hold full Paediatric First Aid certification, reflecting our commitment to children’s safety and wellbeing.
